Red Rock Casino Bowling Lanes
TRAVEL LAS VEGAS - The VIP bowling lanes at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, just outside Las Vegas in Summerlin, Nev. Photo courtesy Station Casinos HO. In the gambling capital of the world. One of the activities we dove into while we were in Las Vegas was a VIP bowling party at Red Rock Casino / Red Rock Lanes. This is one time where having the poomobile came in handy. It was about a 20 minute drive from the strip area and having a car to drive over there was much cheaper than getting a taxi. Red Rock is an impressive venue.
When you happen to find yourself in sin city, you might have bigger and wilder things to do than go bowling, but it’s good to know that they have a “luxury” bowling center/resort that offers all of the glitz and glamor you’d expect from Vegas.
Red Rock Lanes was voted the best Las Vegas bowling alley in 2009 by Las Vegas Review Journal, and it certainly looks like they made the right pick.
First off, there are 72 lanes, all of which feature state-of-the-art Brunswick surfaces and pinsetters. But while a Vector Plus Scoring System might not be thrilling for the average Vegas tourist, many of their other offerings certainly are.
There are 42-inch plasma TV’s by each and every lane, roll-down projector screens, a themed arcade and pool, darts and even shuffleboard. The full-service lounge will bring anything you need right to your lane, Vegas style. Maybe they’ll even comp you something good.
VIP Status Bowling
And it even gets better. In case you weren’t lucky enough to get a luxury room at the Bellagio, you can still enjoy VIP status at the bowling alley. Red Rock Lanes offers special lanes that can be blocked off from the rest of the public, forming a sort of a private bowling suite. You’re free to do whatever you want in there, and with an amazing sound system to play the music of your choice as well as bottle service, it’s likely that things can get a little crazy in these VIP lanes. They’ll look the other way and let you have your fun.
The next time you’re in Vegas, skip the casino and hit the bowling alley!
